Choosing the right Projector

Artwork Choosing the right projector
The following details outline the approximate variation in object area, heat and performance in various ambient lighting conditions for OPTI projectors and help you choose which unit is best for your application.
   
Solar 100C  
OBJECT AREA 35mm dia. (if a zoom attachment is used this is cut down to 27mm).
GOBO TEMPERATURE 52°c (69° without cooling).
AMBIENT LIGHT  
LOW All effects and colours possible up to 3 metres.
MEDIUM Black and white light and light colours only up to 2 to 3 metres.
HIGH Forget it.
N.B. Transparencies without glass have a maximum life of 100 hours.
   
Solar 250  
OBJECT AREA 35mm dia. (if a zoom attachment is used this is cut down to 27mm).
GOBO TEMPERATURE 62°c (75°c without cooling)
AMBIENT LIGHT  
LOW All effects and colours possible up to 4 metres.
MEDIUM Black and white light and light colours only up to 3.5 metres.
HIGH Forget it.
N.B. Transparencies without glass have a maximum life of 90 hours.
   
GoBoShow  
OBJECT AREA 37mm dia. (if a zoom is used this is cut down to 34mm).
GOBO TEMPERATURE 45°c (72° without cooling).
AMBIENT LIGHT  
LOW All effects and colours possible up to 5 metres.
MEDIUM Black and white light and light colours only up to 4 metres.
HIGH White light only up to 2 metres.
N.B. Transparencies without glass have a maximum life of 90 hours.
   
GoBoPro  
OBJECT AREA 37mm dia. (if a zoom is used this is cut to 34mm).
GOBO TEMPERATURE 53°c (72° without cooling).
AMBIENT LIGHT  
LOW All effects and colours possible up to 6 metres. Only laminated 575 Safe Wheels.
MEDIUM Black and white light and light colours up to 5 metres.
HIGH White light only up to 2 - 3 metres.
N.B. Transparencies without glass have a maximum life of 60 hours.
   
K4  
OBJECT AREA 37mm dia. (if a zoom is used this is cut down to 34mm).
GOBO TEMPERATURE 240°c (265° without cooling).
AMBIENT LIGHT  
LOW All effects and colours possible up to 10 metres. Only laminated 575 Safe Wheels.
MEDIUM Black and white light and light colours only up to 7 metres.
HIGH White light only up to 3 metres.
N.B. Transparencies will not survive for more than a few minutes
