3 Inch Cassette Rotator FG6320

The OPTI Solar 3 inch Cassette Rotator rotates any standard or custom OPTI 3 inch Effect Cassette at approximately 2 rpm.

The OPTI 3 inch Effect Cassette fits over the flanges on the base plate and the base plate slides into the rear gate runners of an OPTI Solar 250, Solar 100C or K4 Effects projector.

The standard range of Multi or Mono Coloured Effect Cassettes projects dynamic moiré effects. The Liquid Cassette projects constantly moving globules of vibrant immiscible colours. Check the Effect Cassette pages for designs.

OPTI 3 inch Effect Cassettes can also be customised. A common use is to project a static logo in the centre with a strap line rotating around it. Check the Custom Gobo pages for details.

Solar Cassette Safe FG6326

The Solar Cassette Safe fits into the front gate runners of OPTI Solar and K range projectors as an added safety feature when using OPTI 3 inch Effect Cassettes.




3 Inch Slide Cassette FG6381
The 3 inch Slide Cassette fits onto the OPTI 3 inch Cassette Rotator (above)
and allows either a 50mm gobo or duplicate 35mm slide to be rotated.




50mm Cassette Rotators GS6391*
For use with the OPTI 50mm Effect Cassette format. Rotation speed approximately 2 rpm. All the standard and custom design information given under 3 inch Effect Cassettes applies to OPTI 50mm Effect Cassettes.

50mm Cassettes simply ‘click-fit’ onto the 50mm Cassette Rotators.


IMPORTANT NOTE - Use of 35mm Slides
All 35mm Transparencies will fade so we recommend using duplicates and saving originals.

The OPTI Solar 250 and the OPTI Solar 100C are designed to project 35mm transparencies for a limited period.

The OPTI K4 projector is not designed to project 35mm transparencies which will fade rapidly and may even melt.
