Optikinetics Solar/K Range Projection Accessories | OPTI  Effect projection accessories fall into two main categories. Gobo holding and front of lens. Gobo holding accessories fit in the 'gate' of the projector between the lamp optics and the lens. They are used to simply hold a static gobo (or rtate it), hold a rotating cassette or 6" wheel or, hold multiples of gobos or cassettes changing them at programmable intervals.
Front of lens accessories fit, as the name suggests, in front of the lens and alter the state or move the projected image. These include prisms and mirrors. In addition there are electronic control accessories which add functionality to your projector or effects accessory.
These include the IR remote control for gobo rotating and changing effect accessories, and the shutter/dimming, hour meter and DMX options for the K4.
Finally there are the lenses. An 85mm lens is supplied with every projector. For larger or smaller effect 'image' size it may be necessary to use a lens with a different focal length. *Please note that prisms do not fit onto the K4 or the obsolete K2 and K2+ effect projectors. This is because the lens barrel diameter is too large for the prism holder.
